How to Move: Squat

We love squats! They’re a great exercise to load up in all sorts of various ways. They’re also great at body weight. If you’re short on time you can do some air squats and at least get in some movement. They can be used as a warm up, a workout, or both.

Here’s a few tips to help you:

  • Start with a shoulder width stance

  • To begin the movement send your hips back and down

  • Keep your back and head neutral throughout

  • Your weight should stay in your heels to prevent them from lifting

  • Keep your knees in line with your toes

  • Bring your hip crease to below the top of the knee to hit full range of motion

  • Return to standing
